At The Three Jolly Sailors, we’re proud to serve proper, home-cooked pub food made with care, tradition and the best local ingredients we can source. Our menu celebrates everything people already love here — including our famous Jolly Sailors steak pie, which continues exactly as it always has, using the same well-loved recipe.
We work closely with trusted local suppliers to keep our food fresh, seasonal and true to the character of a real village pub. Every dish is prepared with consistency and quality in mind, offering generous portions and comforting flavours.
Service Times
Food is served daily from 12pm, with service running until 7.30pm in winter and 8.30pm in summer.
Alongside our main menu, we now offer an Early Bird Menu every day between 12pm and 2pm. This menu was previously the pensioners menu, but is now open to everyone, giving guests the option of smaller, half-portion meals at a great price — ideal for lighter appetites or those who prefer a smaller meal.
We’re also exploring the idea of extending the Early Bird into the early evening — watch this space.
To keep things exciting, we also offer a weekly changing specials board, showcasing seasonal dishes and new ideas from the kitchen, along with proper homemade puddings to finish your meal.
Our bar is stocked with cask ales, local beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks to complement any visit.
Whether you’re joining us for a family lunch, a relaxed evening meal or just a pint and pudding, you’ll always find warm service, quality ingredients and traditional pub food done properly.
