Campervan Stopovers
We offer a small number of campervan stopover spaces at The Three Jolly Sailors, perfect for those looking for a relaxed overnight stay with the benefit of a proper village pub on site.
With just two spaces available per night, it’s a simple and quiet setup designed for short stays rather than a full campsite experience. Guests can arrive from 7:00pm, with departure by 11:30am the following day, making it ideal for stopovers while exploring the coast or travelling through the area.
The overnight stay is free of charge when you join us in the pub for a meal during your visit. If you choose not to dine with us, a £20 overnight stay charge will apply. Electric hook-up is available as an optional extra at £10 per night, and there is access to water on site. While we don’t offer shower facilities, toilet access is available during pub opening hours.
Located in Burniston, just minutes from Scarborough, it’s a great base for visiting the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, heading up to Whitby, or exploring the nearby Cleveland Way. You’ll be close to everything, but away from the busier tourist areas.
As a dog-friendly pub, we’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs, making it a great option for those travelling with pets.
This is a straightforward, no-fuss stopover with everything you need for a comfortable night, combined with good food, drinks, and a friendly atmosphere right on your doorstep.
Holiday Accommodation at Three Jolly Sailors
We’re currently developing brand-new self-catering accommodation at The Three Jolly Sailors, creating a comfortable and flexible place to stay in the heart of Burniston, just minutes from Scarborough and the North Yorkshire coast.
Designed with families, couples and groups in mind, the accommodation will feature two double bedrooms which can be arranged as either doubles or twin singles, along with a spacious open-plan kitchen and living area that gives you the freedom to relax, cook and spend time together. A sofa bed in the living room allows the space to sleep up to six guests comfortably.
The property will be fully equipped for a true home-from-home stay, including a modern bathroom with both a bath and separate shower, a fully fitted kitchen, free WiFi throughout, and smart TVs in every bedroom. The main living area will also include a smart TV with full Sky TV access.
Guests will benefit from on-site parking and easy access directly from the pub, making it ideal for both short breaks and longer stays. As a dog-friendly pub, we’re pleased to offer pet-friendly accommodation too.
Our location makes us a perfect base for visiting Scarborough’s North Bay, attending events at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre, exploring Whitby, or enjoying walks along the Cleveland Way, all while staying somewhere a little quieter and more relaxed.
As this is a self-catering stay, guests will have full flexibility, with the option to enjoy food and drinks in the pub downstairs. Breakfast hampers will also be introduced.
